How to Install Dot Net Framework 3.5 on 8 All Editions

Method 1 (Offline Installation using cmd):Enter your 8 Installation into Drive... or Mount the .iso file...Now run Command Prompt as an Administrator... Hit Start --> type in "CMD" or "Command" without quotes, when you see command prompt listed on top of apps list, Right Click on Command Prompt and Select option "Run as Administrator" from the bottom ar nr taskbar.Now type in " DISM /Online /Enable-Fture /FtureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:G:\sources\sxs " without quotes.. (where G: will be your drive letter of Drive or Mounted Virtual Drive.. Replace G: with your actual drive letter if it's other than G:)The .Net Installation will begin and the Fture will be installed with in a few minutes...

Method 2 (Online Method using Update):If for some rsons the Method 1 doesn't work for you, either your installation media doesn't have that installation file for .Net Framework or You have no Installation at the moment, then you can try this second sure fire method that'll work for everyone.. Because in this method, the fture will be installed straight from Update but it is much lengthy process especially if you are on a slow connection..
For this, Go to Control Panel --> Programs and Ftures --> Turn Ftures on or off --> Select the option .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) --> Hit OK. A Pop-up will appr asking that needs to download additional files from Update... Select Install this fture.. Wait until it's done..
